Herewith the "Manhattan skyline" for last week – maintaining the 4km sessions, but missing the Sunday sea swim at Camps Bay. However the excuse for missing Sunday is that I am going to reschedule training as follows:
- Monday – Friday: the usual 4km session, with coach Brian Button’s Dolphin’s squads at both the Virgin Active Point & Sports Science gyms
- Weekend: one longer slower swim, either at Camps Bay or the Pavilion (50m outdoor pool in Sea Point)
- Weights: 3 sessions a week, starting with the toning circuit to create the habit!
This will give me one lie-in a week, which I am not currently getting, and still target 20km weekly.
